These are then subjected to hydrodynamic separation method in which lighter plastic parts float on the water surface and are sucked out from there. The heavier lead parts settle down at the bottom from where they are removed by means of suitable conveyors and elevators. The plastic parts are dried and pulverized for making them suitable for reuse. Lead parts are sent to lead refining plants. The process is continuous and can be handled with the help of just a few operators and labours.
